The 16th International Defense Technology Exhibition «IDEX 2023» has opened at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia reports that 18 Armenian companies, under the unified «Armenia» pavilion, are presenting Armenia’s latest achievements and potential in the fields of information, defense and military technology, and architectural solutions. Not only finished products but also innovative projects are on display.
Within the framework of an official visit, Armenia’s Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan toured the exhibition’s 12 thematic halls, familiarized himself with the latest technologies in the land, naval and air defense sectors, and exchanged ideas with representatives of Armenian companies.
The «IDEX» international defense technology exhibition is considered one of the most prestigious and strategically important events in the Middle East and North Africa region, bringing together leading and authoritative figures of the defense industry, as well as various innovative technology companies and renowned experts in the technology sector.
The event is organized once every two years and consists of a conference and an exhibition, the purpose of which is to create a platform for discussing the latest developments, trends and innovative solutions in the sector, accompanied by a display of the sector’s best practices and achievements.
