During the Phonéton, the annual fundraising campaign of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s French affiliate, the Armenian Fund, pledges of 2.1 million euros were made, an increase of 91 percent compared to the 2019 Phonéton. This was reported by Nor Haratch.
Phonéton-2020, which took place on 19-22 November, aimed to raise funds for the return of those displaced by the war unleashed against Artsakh, to address their needs, and for the reconstruction of Artsakh.
It should be noted that the Phonéton is not limited to these four days alone, and the fundraising campaign continues.
This year’s fundraiser was sponsored by the renowned actor Simon Abgaryan.
