This September, 21 new preschools will open across the entire republic. This was announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan today, on the start of the school year, visited the Aragatsotn and Ararat provinces to attend the opening ceremonies of the preschools.
The preschools are also furnished with the necessary equipment and provided with all the necessary supplies for organizing preschool education.
It should be noted that retraining of educators working in the preschools was also carried out beforehand. Likewise, all requirements for organizing inclusive education have been met, and the newly established preschools also have an adapted environment, and children with disabilities will also receive education in the preschools.
Let us recall that the preliminary work aimed at implementing the 2020 preschool education sub-programs began in November 2019 and is being carried out with co-financing from the World Bank, within the framework of the “Education Improvement” credit program of the “Center for Education Programs” SNCO, and 136 preschools have already been established.
