The Armenia Fund’s 24th annual International Thanksgiving Day Telethon brought together Armenians worldwide, calling for continued support for the homeland’s rebuilding efforts, while also presenting an account of the programs implemented over the past 12 months.
Under the motto “Rebuilding the Homeland’s Remote Communities,” the Telethon secured assistance for numerous Armenian and Artsakh communities affected by the 44-day war, including approximately 100,000 displaced and forcibly exiled individuals. The Telethon took place on November 25 in Los Angeles. During the four-hour event, community leaders and representatives of schools and organizations delivered speeches, and short documentaries were screened about completed programs, the homeland’s ongoing humanitarian needs, and new programs designed to address them.
By the conclusion of the Telethon, $12,351,000 had been raised for homeland assistance. This amount represents the total sum collected internationally during 2021, in the United States, France, Canada, and other Armenian communities around the world.

She added, “At this most difficult moment in modern Armenian history, the Armenia Fund’s Telethon provides vital support for Armenia and Artsakh.”
