During the blockade imposed by Azerbaijan, 300 children were born in the maternity wards of Artsakh, reported the Ministry of Health of Artsakh.
“Because of the terrorist behavior of the Azerbaijani side, newborn children and their mothers face serious problems every day related to shortages of infant food, diapers, medicines and other essential items,” the statement said.
The ministry also reported that 2 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units of the children’s hospital.
