The Human Rights Defender has updated its second interim report on Azerbaijani crimes against the population of Artsakh, incorporating new incidents and facts recorded from 9 to 12 October.
In particular, the report has added statistics on human and material losses, certain data on the atrocities recorded in Hadrut on 10 October, some evidence of crimes committed against servicemen, and an international legal analysis.
As of 12 October inclusive, a total of 31 civilians have been killed, including 1 infant girl, 7 women and 23 men. The deaths were recorded in Stepanakert (10), Martuni (6), Hadrut (6) and Martakert (3), the Alashan settlement of the Martakert district (1), Zaglik (1) and a location adjacent to the Mets Shen community (1), the Ayghestan community of the Askeran district (2) and the Tigranakert site (1).
A total of 106 people have sustained bodily injuries.
Since 27 September, the Azerbaijani armed forces have targeted more than 120 civilian settlements of the Republic of Artsakh, resulting in numerous cases of destruction or damage to infrastructure and private property. According to preliminary data, more than 6,700 privately owned real estate properties, more than 640 vehicles, and around 1,110 structures of infrastructural, public and production significance have been seriously damaged.
