“International Christian Solidarity” organization, together with eight other international public organizations, has warned of the danger of genocide in Nagorno-Karabakh.

John Eibner, president of “International Christian Solidarity” organization, stated:
“By placing Nagorno-Karabakh under blockade, Azerbaijan’s dictatorship is clearly demonstrating its intention to carry out another phase of genocide. The international community must act collectively to protect the civilian population of Nagorno-Karabakh.”
It was also noted that the Azerbaijani government has long pursued a policy of hatred against Armenians at the official level, has contributed to impunity for atrocities committed against Armenians, and has threatened to seize by force not only Nagorno-Karabakh but also Yerevan.
The organizations have called on the countries party to the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide” to act through the UN Security Council to prevent the genocide of Armenians in the region.
The organizations have addressed the countries party to the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide,” including the United States, Great Britain and Russia, calling on them to fulfill their obligations to prevent the impending genocide against Armenians.
