By decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, Argishti Keyaryan has been relieved of the post of Director of the National Security Service.
“Based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 4.1 of the Law on National Security Bodies,
Argishti KEYARYAN is to be relieved of the post of Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia,” the decree states.
“Based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 139 of the Constitution, as well as Parts 1 and 3 of Article 23 of the Law on Service in National Security Bodies.
Mikayel HAMBARDZUMYAN is to be appointed as Acting Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia,” the President’s other decree states.
