Today, November 2, the delegation of the Central Board of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, headed by the Board’s chairman, Mike Kharapyan, visited the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, David Tonoyan.
The head of the defense department, welcoming the guests, particularly emphasized the active role of diaspora structures in the preservation of Armenian identity and the strengthening of ties with the Homeland.
At the request of the representatives of the ADL Central Board, David Tonoyan presented the progress of the extensive reforms being implemented for the armed forces, the border situation, and the priorities and programs of the defense sector.
Mike Kharapyan, expressing gratitude for the reception, emphasized that today the supreme task of defending our borders is becoming a reality through the participation and sacred feats of the fearless Armenian army. He also assured that the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, as a worldwide traditional Armenian party, is committed, as yesterday, so today, to placing its full potential at the service of the noble cause of the strengthening and empowerment of the Armenian army, as well as pursuing the strengthening of homeland-diaspora ties and is ready to implement programs of a public nature within the framework of army-society cooperation.
