With joy we greet your election by the National Assembly of Armenia to the high and responsible office of President of the Republic of Armenia.
You assume the office of President of the Republic at a time of difficult conditions for our homeland and state, and during a period of new regional and global developments.
Nevertheless, being familiar with your experience in the scientific, diplomatic and political fields, your rich experience in governance, your high personal and academic merits, and also having listened to the vision you articulated within the National Assembly regarding the future of the Republic of Armenia, we consider your election a hopeful moment in the modern history of our state.
We are confident that during your presidency, by making possible the harmonious and uninterrupted cooperation of the three branches of government, our Homeland will enter a new phase of achievements and ascent.
