In response to the decision of the last session of the Central Board of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (ADL), on Friday, March 13, an ADL delegation arrived in Stepanakert, the capital of the Republic of Artsakh, for a three-day visit.

The delegation was headed by ADL Central Board member Aleksan Garatanayan, and included the chairman of the Youth ADL, Sedrak Balyan, and ADL members.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the delegation was to closely follow the Artsakh presidential and parliamentary elections, which are to be held on March 31.

Upon arriving in Artsakh, the delegation members, led by Aleksan Garatanayan, headed to the “Grandpa-Grandma” monument at the entrance to Stepanakert, from where a motorcade was to depart for Shushi.

Accompanied by presidential candidate Masis Mayilyan and members of the “New Artsakh” alliance, as well as the ADL representative in Artsakh, Bardugh Galstyan, the convoy’s journey set off toward heroic Shushi, where a special election rally took place.

During the event, the presidential candidate of the “New Artsakh” alliance, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Mr. Masis Mayilyan, took the floor. In his speech, he briefly presented the overall issues facing Artsakh today, stating that if elected president, he would strive to make significant efforts to resolve all the problems confronting Artsakh and its heroic population, for which realistic pre-election programs have already been prepared.

He also emphasized the ADL’s participation in the “New Artsakh” alliance and, welcoming the representatives of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party from the diaspora present there, expressed gratitude for their support.
