On Wednesday, 10 August 2022, the Vice-Chairman of the ADL Central Board, Hagop Andresyan, accompanied by the Chairman of the ADL Regional Board in Jerusalem, Hagop Panosyan, Vice-Chairman Vigen Lepejian, and board members Stepan Hagopyan and Krikor Kejekushyan, visited the Patriarchate and had a meeting with His Beatitude Archbishop Nourhan, Patriarch Manukyan.
Hagop Andresyan conveyed the greetings of the ADL Central Board Chairman Mike Kharapyan and the members of the Board to His Beatitude, gave a brief account of the events dedicated to the Party’s 100th anniversary, which took place on 22-27 June in Yerevan, and presented His Beatitude with the Central Board’s commemorative gift.
His Beatitude, expressing his gratitude, highly commended the ADL’s 100 years of patriotic and nation-serving activity and expressed the wish that the Party grow stronger and continue its mission in the future as it has in the past.
In a cordial atmosphere, a constructive discussion took place between the party members and His Beatitude on matters of concern and interest to the Armenian communities of Armenia and Jerusalem.
The members took leave of His Beatitude, promising to make such important visits more frequent and to strengthen the ties between the Patriarchate and the community.
