A group of colleagues from the ADL Lebanon Regional Board, headed by Central Board member and Regional Board chairman Colleague Avetis Dagesyan, accompanied by Colleagues Vigen Tosunyan, Joseph Krpoyan, Vache Doneryan, Vigen Asilyan, Sahak Tashjian and Vazken Jamkochyan, held a meeting with intellectual colleagues who have made great contributions to the Party: Ohan Poturumyan, Aram Sepetjian, Hambik Martirosyan and Paruyr Aghbashyan.
A party that does not take the opinion of its intelligentsia and does not read the pulse of its people remains severed from reality and reason and becomes stagnant. The state of the diaspora is the greatest proof of this. The Armenian Democratic Liberal Party has always respected its intellectuals, and this is considered one of the factors of its success. This time as well, our elder colleagues gave their opinion on the issues troubling our nation. They found the solution to our problems in dialogue. A dialogue that shall serve the resolution of the problems facing the children of our people. It shall elevate the Armenian man. Ramgavarism is the best solution to our problems: choosing people endowed with reason to lead our people through turbulent seas. Without true Ramgavarism there is no solution to our problems. Harming the party for personal interests is an unscrupulous act that shall find its resolution sooner or later. The solution to the divisions driven by personal interests recorded in recent years is, again, true Ramgavarism.
The Board colleagues appreciated the work accomplished by our intellectual colleagues and kept them informed of the latest developments, the party’s policy, and sought their opinion on national issues.
Our elder colleagues expressed their satisfaction with this meeting and promised to do their utmost for the well-being of our nation and the Party.
At the end of the meeting, the parties promised to continue communicating, in order to overcome all the obstacles facing our people.
