Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has asked how the Iskander-M missiles came into Armenia’s possession.
Baku maintains that Iskanders were used in the direction of Shushi during the 44-day war, although earlier Aliyev had insisted that no Iskanders had been deployed.
“Here is the proof. Where did Armenia get those missiles? They should not have had those missiles. We want an answer to the question of how this deadly weapon came into Armenia’s hands. We have not yet received an answer to this question, but we will,” Aliyev said at the opening of a war trophy park in Baku, where, according to the Azerbaijani side, fragments of Iskander-M missiles found in the city of Shushi were displayed.
