Alone we are a drop, together we are an ocean. This is what Serdar Kılıç, Turkey’s special representative in the process of normalising Armenian-Turkish relations, wrote on his Twitter page, sharing on his page the post of Armenia’s special representative Ruben Rubinyan about the fact that the group of Armenian rescuers had saved two more women affected by the earthquake.
“Alone we are a drop, together we are an ocean. This is a day when we set aside ethnic, national and religious affiliation and reach the highest level of humanity and human solidarity, as children of the same God. God bless you all,” the Turkish diplomat Serdar Kılıç wrote on Twitter.
“Humanitarian aid is the right step, it is a natural step; in days of large-scale disasters, all states must help one another,” Ruben Rubinyan had stated the day before.
