President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed a decree on relieving Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan of his post.
“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with Article 131 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 5 of the law ‘On the Structure and Activities of the Government’.
Relieve Andranik PILOYAN of the post of Minister of Emergency Situations,” reads the presidential decree.
It should be recalled that Piloyan has been charged under Point 3 of Part 3 of Article 311 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia — “receiving a bribe on a large scale” (3 episodes). He has been arrested.
