The gas pipeline has been damaged during construction work at the 6th km of the newly built Tandzavar-Shurnukh road. This was reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
Restoration work is being carried out.
It was noted that earlier, Gazprom Armenia CJSC had announced that on April 2, during road construction work, the Goris-Kapan-Kajaran highway gas pipeline was damaged at the 13.5 km section.
As a result of the accident, in order to carry out restoration work, gas supply was suspended from 11:10 to the cities of Goris and Kapan in the Syunik Province, the settlements of the Goris and Kapan regions, as well as the Republic of Artsakh.
