The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan have had a telephone conversation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov exchanged views on the formation of a commission on border demarcation and border security, preparations for peace negotiations, and humanitarian issues.
Following the talks in Brussels last week, which lasted more than four hours, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan had agreed to establish a bilateral commission on border demarcation issues between the two countries by the end of April, which would also be tasked with ensuring security and stability along the border. Pashinyan and Aliyev also instructed the foreign ministers to begin preparatory work for peace negotiations between the two countries.
