On 19 February, at the request of the Azerbaijani side, through the mediation of Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, and with the support of the ICRC, search operations were carried out in the section of the village of Movses, in the interpositional area between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, by an Azerbaijani demining group for a missing Azerbaijani serviceman who had disappeared days earlier under unknown circumstances. This was reported by the information service of the RA Ministry of Defense.
Thanks to the operations, the remains of the killed Azerbaijani serviceman were discovered and removed a few metres from the Azerbaijani positions.
Throughout the entire operation permitted by the Armenian side, all security conditions were ensured for the work of the Azerbaijani search group.
