Armenia may soon turn to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to initiate peace negotiations with Azerbaijan.

This was stated by Vahan Hunanyan, spokesperson for the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Hunanyan replied: “The signing of the treaty, of course, must be preceded by a negotiation process on the subject, and since mutual statements have not yet turned into a clear negotiation process, since the two countries do not have rich experience in direct negotiations, Armenia will perhaps soon turn to the mediators (the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs) to initiate peace negotiations with Azerbaijan. The matter is currently in the stage of elaboration.”
