As of 11:00 on 26 May, a total of 7,402 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 3,220 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 4,052 infected individuals are receiving actual treatment for the novel coronavirus. In total, 52,554 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 289 newly confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus and 75 recoveries.
In total, 91 deaths from the novel coronavirus have been recorded (an increase of 4).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were aged 81 (female), 85 (male), 70 (female), and 83 (female), and had underlying chronic diseases.
There have been 39 recorded deaths where the patient tested positive for the novel coronavirus, but death was caused by another illness.
