The death toll on the Armenian side from the Azerbaijani attack of September 13-14 stands at 224. This was reported by Gor Abrahamyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, noting that as of now, the identities of all 224 victims have been established and the identification process has been completed.
“A comprehensive investigation is being conducted to determine and assess the circumstances of each victim’s death,” added Gor Abrahamyan.
Official Yerevan had earlier also reported territorial losses, stating that Azerbaijan has occupied approximately 140 square kilometers of Armenia’s sovereign territory.
The Azerbaijani side has officially reported around 80 casualties.
