Lindsay Snell, an independent journalist covering humanitarian crises who is actively reporting on the Artsakh survival struggle, wrote on her Twitter page:
“A fighter from the Syrian National Army who recently returned from Azerbaijan recounts:
‘My cousins and I fought throughout the entire war in Syria, but we have never seen anything like this. During one of the battles, we were 45 people on a small hill. One sniper killed 8 fighters from the ‘Sultan Murad’ group and 2 more from ‘Hamza.’ The snipers are like the ones we saw in films,’ wrote Lindsay Snell.
