In Azerbaijan, testimony is being extracted from Armenian prisoners against Russian peacekeepers. The corresponding “testimonies” have been published at the court hearing on the fabricated case against the captured Armenians.
At the same time, the Azerbaijani authorities are ignoring their direct obligations and are holding prisoners of war and civilians. Let us recall that this is being done to have additional leverage of pressure on the Armenian side, whether demanding minefield maps, demanding the withdrawal of troops, or demanding something else. Now the Azerbaijani authorities have decided to use the captured Armenians for anti-Russian propaganda.

Another member of the group, Volodya Hagopyan, also said that he had arrived from Gyumri to Lachin, where the Russian peacekeepers let them in. He repeated his predecessor’s testimony that he had been at the positions for several days, then received the order to come down and was taken prisoner. “We were 60 people, and we surrendered, laying down our arms,” he said.
