Baku supports Moscow’s proposal to create a trilateral commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, and the Azerbaijani side is ready for constructive work with Yerevan, said Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov. Ria.ru reports.
The Azerbaijani prime minister spoke in Minsk at a meeting of heads of government of CIS countries.
“Azerbaijan has begun the process of determining border infrastructure and is ready for a constructive resolution of the issue of demarcation with Armenia. In this regard, Azerbaijan supports the Russian side’s proposal to create a trilateral commission on delimitation and demarcation. The determination of border lines is a technical process, and this process must be based on a serious international legal foundation,” Asadov’s press service quoted him as saying.
