Azerbaijan had promised to release 17 Armenian captives by September 30: Security Council Secretary

On September 27, at the initiative of US President Joe Biden’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, a trilateral agreement was reached at the White House during my meeting with Azerbaijani President’s aide Hikmet Hajiyev, whereby Azerbaijan was to release the 17 Armenian prisoners of war captured in September by September 30. This was written on his Facebook page by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan. “Let us note that once again Azerbaijan has not fulfilled its commitment,” he wrote.
