In the fortress city of Shushi, on the night of November 2-3, as a result of strikes from heavy weapons of the Azerbaijani armed forces, there is destruction in various parts of the city. According to Armenpress.am, this was stated by the Mayor of Shushi, Artsvik Sargsyan, presenting the situation as of around 09:20 in the morning.
“They have struck the city of Shushi several times; it was an aircraft through which they used cluster bombs, which were dropped on various parts of the city, and the remnants also fell on the village of Karin Tak. Thank God, we have no dead or wounded among the civilian population, but there is destruction in various parts of the city. Yesterday they were carrying out air strikes on the city, and today they are continuing,” noted Sargsyan.
He stated that they do not yet know what infrastructure has been damaged as a result of the strikes; they still need to examine. The Mayor of Shushi stressed that in the event of damaged infrastructure, local specialists will be able to restore it very quickly. “The civilian population is currently in bomb shelters; they are observing safety rules and are safe,” said Sargsyan.
