In the border area of Verin Shorzha village in Gegharkunik Province, Azerbaijan has provoked an exchange of fire.
In response to a question from Armenpress, the head of the information department of the administrative body of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel Samuel Asatryan, said this, referring to the circulated information that an exchange of fire took place between Armenian and Azerbaijani servicemen on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“The Azerbaijani forces themselves provoked the exchange of fire. The Armenian side has one serviceman who sustained a slight injury. According to our information, the Azerbaijani side has two wounded servicemen,” Asatryan said.
