Azerbaijani Armed Forces Must Withdraw from Armenia’s Sovereign Territory: Mirzoyan to Bayramov

On 19 September, within the framework of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, a meeting took place between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, mediated by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. This was reported by the Armenian Foreign Ministry. The Armenian Foreign Minister emphasised the importance of addressing humanitarian issues, including the urgent resolution of the repatriation of prisoners of war.

Minister Mirzoyan reaffirmed the Armenian side’s readiness to engage in the process of comprehensive normalisation of relations.
