Yesterday, between 22:00 and 22:30, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire toward the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway and the village of Koti. The press secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, made a post about this on his Facebook page.
“Today, between 22:00 and 22:30, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire toward the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway and the village of Koti. After the return fire of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, the adversary ceased fire,” the post said.
Hovhannisyan noted that there are no losses on the part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
The chairman of the “Reformists” party, Vahan Papayan, also made a post on his Facebook page, in which he specifically noted that the Baghanis-Voskepar section of the Yerevan-Georgia interstate road is closed.
“I was informed that in the Baghanis-Voskepar-Voskevan section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the adversary has violated the ceasefire. They have been firing continuously for about half an hour. The Baghanis-Voskepar section of the Yerevan-Georgia interstate road is closed. Cars are moving via a detour,” the post said.
