Azerbaijani military positions have fired in the direction of civilians working in a pomegranate orchard located in the administrative territory of the town of Martakert. The information was reported by the Police of the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“On March 27 at 11:30, the chief specialist of the Martakert district of the State Inspectorates Management Committee of the Republic of Artsakh, Alyosha Zakaryan, reported to the district police department that on the previous day, March 26, the enemy had fired irregular shots in their direction in the administrative territory of the town of Martakert,” the statement said.
Police officers determined that on the same day, around 11:30, while agricultural work was being carried out in the pomegranate orchard belonging to the State Inspectorates Management Committee in the administrative territory of the town of Martakert, irregular shots were fired from small arms from Azerbaijani military positions in the direction of the workers.
According to the source, no one was injured. Agricultural work has been halted. The police reported the information to the Russian peacekeeping forces.
