Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, true to the anti-Armenian policy he has pursued for many years, has called the Armenians of Karabakh a “hated enemy.”
The Azerbaijani leader had previously not hidden his fascist attitude toward the Armenians of Karabakh, and the evidence of this is abundant — from Ramil Safarov’s monstrous “assignment” to the appearance of a “trophy park” in Baku after the attack of autumn 2020.
Nevertheless, Aliyev’s latest statement at an event held in the captured city of Shushi stands out from the rest. The Azerbaijani leader inadvertently admitted that as much as he hates the Armenian Karabakhis, so much does he fear them.
“I personally chose the site for the construction of a new five-star hotel in exactly the place where the hated enemy was building the building of the ‘Republic of Mountainous Karabakh’s parliament.’ That was being done to mock us. The concept of the ‘Republic of Mountainous Karabakh’ does not exist. The foundation of this building had already been laid, even the stonework had been done. On my orders, this den of a devil was destroyed in Shushi,” Aliyev said.
It should be noted that in Islam, the devil holds a special place, being almost an equal adversary to God.
