In the near future, after the inevitable decline of the euphoric mood, Baku’s dictator will be forced to face reality, which could become highly explosive, especially when the Russian-Turkish competition, to put it mildly, begins to intensify on the territory of Azerbaijan. This is what Iranologist and member of the “Hayrenik” party Vartan Oskanyan wrote on his Facebook page.
“Although Baku’s dictator, against the backdrop of widespread euphoria, is capitalizing on the military successes quite successfully in the domestic political arena to consolidate his power, it is nonetheless evident that the subjectivity (individuality) of the artificial formation called Azerbaijan has, however unbelievable it may seem, in reality diminished.
On the very territory that this same dictator proclaims as sovereign Azerbaijan, there are at this moment in fact three non-Azerbaijani armed forces — Armenian, Russian, and Turkish — the fact of whose existence is interpreted in different ways by Azerbaijani propaganda, which does not change the current situation in any way.
Therefore, in the near future, after the inevitable decline of the euphoric mood, Baku’s dictator will be forced to face reality, which could become highly explosive, especially when the Russian-Turkish competition, to put it mildly, begins to intensify precisely on the territory of Azerbaijan.”
