US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has addressed his phone conversation with Nikol Pashinyan on his Twitter page.
“Today I spoke with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and reaffirmed the US commitment to helping Armenia and Azerbaijan reach a durable peace. Diplomacy is the only path to peace in the South Caucasus,” he wrote.
It should be noted that on 20 March, Nikol Pashinyan discussed with Antony Blinken issues related to the humanitarian crisis created by Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor, and the US Secretary of State reaffirmed his call for the immediate reopening of the Lachin corridor.
