As “Ramgavar Mamoul” had earlier noted, in the past days electoral rallies took place in Artsakh, led by the presidential candidate of the “New Artsakh” alliance, Masis Mayilian, with the participation of the representative of the Artsakh ADL body, Bardugh Galstyan, and the comrades of the ADL delegation.
It should be noted that the last meeting of the three-day visit to Artsakh and the series of rally participations took place in the area in front of the ADL office in Stepanakert, where a large number of Artsakh citizens had gathered. It was also noticeable that there was no age restriction among those gathered; there were young and old, middle-aged, as well as elderly Artsakh citizens.
First, a neat artistic program was carried out, a concert took place, during which young talented singers performed national patriotic songs.
Especially moving was the response of those present regarding the prevailing atmosphere, and it was noticeable that the Artsakh citizens have great respect, sympathy and trust toward the presidential candidate of the “New Artsakh” alliance, Mr. Masis Mayilian.
During the rally, the main speech was given by presidential candidate Masis Mayilian. He once again expressed gratitude to the members of the ADL delegation and, through them, to the worldwide ADL circles and supporters.
He also noted that the Artsakh-Diaspora relations are going through important and pivotal days, in the sense that the Artsakh citizen has always highly valued the support of Diaspora Armenians and the tangible assistance and backing shown, but it is also clear that in various senses and on appropriate and inappropriate occasions, the support shown by the Diaspora toward Artsakh has been exploited and squandered.
He also called on Diaspora bodies to follow the processes underway in Artsakh, assuring that the Artsakh-Diaspora cooperation is on solid foundations and that the Artsakh citizen has always highly valued the approach and love of Diaspora Armenians toward the sacred and heroic land of Artsakh and its aspiring people.
At the rally, popular representatives also spoke, emphasizing the priority of crowning these elections with victory.
The electoral rally ended in a rich and enthusiastic atmosphere, after which Masis Mayilian visited the ADL office in Stepanakert.
During the meeting, which was attended by members of the ADL delegation, led by Aleksan Garatanayan, the general framework of activities between the ADL and Artsakh was discussed, and emphasis was placed on the importance of directing that cooperation in the future with more positive and practical steps.
Garatanayan conveyed to Mr. Mayilian the greetings of the ADL Central Board and once again confirmed that the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party will continue to stand by our twin homelands with all its means, so that with joint forces with the Diaspora they may realize the supreme goal of protecting the highest interests of the entire Armenian nation.
At the end of Sunday’s electoral rally, the members of the ADL delegation returned to the capital city Yerevan after three successful days.
