A clash took place between residents of the village of Toria in the Ninotsminda district and Azerbaijani shepherds arriving from Tusheti. This was reported by the Jnews news outlet.
The shepherds had been grazing their sheep in pastures belonging to the villagers, and the villagers drove the animals out, after which a brawl broke out. Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation under two articles of the criminal code; there are wounded and arrested individuals.
According to one of the residents of Toria village, they sent a 16-year-old child to tell the shepherds to remove the flock of sheep from their pastures, but the shepherds beat the child, after which the brawl began.
