With unalloyed joy and great satisfaction, we greet the decision taken by the Central Board of Directors of the Armenian General Benevolent Union that you become the next President of our great national Union.
Indeed, you are one of the finest representatives of that generation which had the fortune to receive an unblemished national and ancestral education, during the most productive period.
You belong to that harvest of Armenian-spirited education which reflects the AGBU’s fundamental national mission and is, unquestionably, the laurel of the Union’s achievements recorded in that field. Your national understandings and convictions have been forged by the splendid and affectionate teaching of Ara Topjian, Gersam Aharonian, Vahe Vahian, and other notable devotees of Armenian education.
We are confident that, as the worthy President of our nationally meritorious Union, you will have the most brilliant term of office, rich in numerous great accomplishments and successes.
With complete optimism, we also believe that the traditional close ties and cooperation between the AGBU and the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party will be strengthened and acquire a new, encouraging quality.
