On 10 March, at approximately 15:30, a contract soldier, Private Zohrap Sianosyan, son of Krikor (born 1984, from Ararat military commissariat), sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest as a result of fire opened by the enemy in the direction of a combat position in the security zone of military unit N of the Ministry of Defence, located in the southwestern sector.
As reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Ministry of Defence, an investigation is being conducted to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
The RA Ministry of Defence expresses its deep condolences to the family members, relatives and comrades-in-arms of Zohrap Sianosyan.
