On December 10, the world community marks Human Rights Day, which was established in December 1950 at the plenary session of the UN General Assembly.
All states and interested organizations have been invited to observe this day and carry out appropriate events.
Incidentally, every five years, on December 10, on the anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Prize ceremony in the field of human rights takes place. It was founded in 1966 to honor those who have made significant contributions to the promotion and protection of human rights. The prize was first awarded in 1968.
