The delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has arrived in Kazakhstan to participate in the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to be held on 5 February. As reported by Armenpress, the delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Armen Gevondyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Varos Simonyan, Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Ashot Muratyan, and others.
Since 1 January 2021, the Republic of Kazakhstan has assumed the chairmanship of the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Eurasian Economic Union is an international organisation for regional economic integration, endowed with international legal personality and established by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
