The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Artsakh has presented the summary indicators of the value of goods imported into and exported from the territory of the RA during 2019. Accordingly, during 2019, goods worth 144.7 billion drams were imported into the territory of the RA, exceeding the figure for the same period of the previous year by approximately 19.1 billion drams or 15.2 percent. In 2019, goods worth 122.8 billion drams were exported, compared to 102.6 billion drams in the same period of the previous year, or an increase of 19.6 percent.
By share, imports and exports conducted through the Vardenis-Martakert and Goris-Stepanakert road sections predominated. In particular, according to data recorded at the checkpoints located on the aforementioned road sections, during 2019 imports through the Vardenis-Martakert road section constituted 64.3% of total imports, and through the Goris-Stepanakert road section, 35.2%. Exports through the Vardenis-Martakert road section constituted 76.2%, and through the Goris-Stepanakert road section, 22.6%.
