The Defense Army has published the names of the 31 servicemen who fell while repelling the Azerbaijani attack.
One of them is a woman — Arzumanyan Hasmik Smbati, born in 1985.
Junior Sergeant Hasmik Arzumanyan had been serving in the RA Armed Forces since 2014. In the previously published series “Women with Epaulets,” the RA Ministry of Defense had written about Hasmik Arzumanyan:
“According to the assessment of the command staff, during her service she demonstrates herself as a literate, knowledgeable and disciplined serviceman.
Her comrades-in-arms particularly value the great organizational energy, thanks to which the junior sergeant authors numerous initiatives”:
