Let us recall that on 28 July, at around 03:40, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units once again resorted to provocation and violated the ceasefire in the north-eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. According to the Ministry of Defence’s statement, local battles were underway. As of 08:30, the Armenian side had three dead and four wounded.
Later, the Ministry of Defence announced that, through the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces, an agreement had been reached on restoring the ceasefire regime along the line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces in the north-eastern direction. At present, the said agreement is largely being implemented.
