Today, the renowned and beloved Armenian singer and songwriter Hayko, who had contracted the coronavirus, passed away at the Mikaelyan Hospital.
Addressing the news circulating about the cause of the singer-songwriter Hayko’s death, we inform that the cause of the singer’s death was not the vaccine against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health has stated.
“The loss should not be speculated upon, nor should one enter the field of personal data.
The staff of the Ministry of Health expresses its condolences and support to Hayko’s family,” the Ministry of Health’s statement said.
Hayko graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas.
It should be noted that Hayko’s star began to shine in 2002, when he received the awards for “Best Project of the Year,” “Best Album of the Year,” and “Best Video of the Year.”
In 2006, by decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2007, he represented Armenia at the Eurovision international song contest and took 8th place.
