The Artsakh Republic Ministry of Defense reports that the fate of 73 people still remains unknown in the Khtsaberd-Hin Tagher direction. This was reported by the Defense Army.
“Conflicting information continues to be spread through various media outlets about Armenian servicemen missing in the Khtsaberd-Hin Tagher section. In particular, information is circulating about as many as 171 Armenian servicemen, which does not correspond to reality.
The Artsakh Republic Ministry of Defense states that the fate of 73 people still remains unknown in the said direction. From the very first hours of the incident, with the support of Russian peacekeepers, urgent work has been underway to clarify the fate of our servicemen as quickly as possible.
Let us add that the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan, has also departed for the Republic of Artsakh to study the issue on the ground and take the necessary actions.
