The first session of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly is to be convened on 2 August.
In accordance with Part 2 of Article 32 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” in the case of a snap election of the National Assembly, the first session is convened on the second Monday following the formation of the newly elected National Assembly, at 10:00, as announced by the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission.
