Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to Travel to Turkey

On February 15, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will travel to Turkey.  This was written on his Facebook page by RA MFA spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan.  Minister Mirzoyan will meet with the RA rescue team carrying out search-and-rescue operations in the earthquake-hit city of Adıyaman. During the visit, a meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will take place in Ankara. Minister Mirzoyan will meet with the RA rescue team carrying out search-and-rescue operations in the earthquake-hit city of Adıyaman.

During the visit, a meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will take place in Ankara.

For its part, the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the visit of RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to Turkey on February 15. 

“Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will visit Turkey on February 15 to express solidarity with our country and convey condolences following the earthquake in the Kahramanmaraş central region.

After the meeting with our foreign minister in Ankara, Minister Mirzoyan will visit Adıyaman, where the work of the Armenian search-and-rescue team is also underway,” was stated in the announcement posted on the official website of the Turkish MFA.
