In New Delhi, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan discussed bilateral agenda issues. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
“Approaches to advancing cooperation on international platforms and within the framework of common integration associations were confirmed. Views were exchanged on regional issues,” the ministry’s statement said.
It should be recalled that within the framework of the 8th international conference “Raisina Dialogue” in New Delhi, a private meeting took place between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
It was noted that during the private meeting, the urgency of intensifying efforts on all platforms for Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement was emphasized, in accordance with the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022.
The statement emphasizes that the negotiations were held in a friendly and trusting atmosphere, and agreement was reached on further contacts along the diplomatic line.
