Various proposals are being discussed in various formats regarding a possible meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan in response to a question about whether reports of a meeting between the Armenian Prime Minister and the Azerbaijani President in Sochi on 26 November are accurate.
“Proposals for various meetings in various formats are being discussed, and when any agreement is reached on dates, venue and formats, we will inform in advance within reasonable timeframes,” said Vahan Hunanyan.
Earlier it had become known that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had agreed to hold a meeting on 15 December in Brussels within the framework of the European Union’s Eastern Partnership summit.
