At the initiative of President Armen Sarkissian, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has launched programs in the province of Syunik aimed at addressing a number of issues of community, educational and social significance.
With the resources of the Fund’s worldwide partners, solar water heaters are being installed in a number of localities in the province of Syunik in the first phase.
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Trustees, Armen Sarkissian, visiting the communities of the province of Syunik and meeting with community heads, had suggested that they present information on the primary problems of the communities. The President had expressed readiness to support their resolution within the limits of possibilities.
As a result of the discussions, a special program was drawn up to address a number of issues, which is being implemented step by step through the joint efforts of the staff of the President of Armenia and the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. All means and efforts are being exerted to ease the burdens of our communities and compatriots.
